WORKSHOP

The Leadership Juggle

NOTE: (This workshop is routinely branded to fit YOUR group, i.e., ‘The HR Juggle, The Public Procurement Juggle, etc)

Juggling Balls, rings, Chinese Yo Yo, Flower Sticks, Peacock Feathers, Stilts and more are laid out. Each skill is shown and demonstrated in a funny, interactive presentation that engages the group and intertwines lessons in leadership and personal communication skills (grit, growth mindset, positive communication). Then the group is given the rest of the workshop to PLAY! Each participant will get the chance to try as many skills as they want, or focus on a few and get a good feel for a new skill. At the end, we wrap up with a discussion on how these skills apply to:

  • Dealing with co-workers (positive feedback, healthy language)
  • Dealing with clients (positive encouragement, personal support)
  • Overall life lessons (grit, growth mindset) This workshop has been incredibly well-received and garners rave reviews!
  • Ideas for staff activities

Permission To Play: Communication Lessons Disguised as Recess

This presentation goes beyond conventional ‘Team-Building’ and engages every single participant in a series of improv and communication games. These activities help participants both UN-cover and RE-discover key habits, practices, and tips for improved results in successful communication both in and out of work.

D.R.E.A.M. Goals: How to Win Students and Influence Leaders

The core of this session is an exercise in powerful goal-setting known as the D.R.E.A.M. Method. Participants are provided with a hard copy of material to follow along in order to tap into their potential and approach the future with an expanded sense of possibility. This exercise can be used to identify solutions and create a plan forward either individually or as part of a group in school or in the workplace.

Presenters of this session are provided with a “teachers’ guide” including slideshow, images, and links, plus notes on how to use this session to build the connection with students throughout the academic year whether in-person or online.
